2024 Children's Holiday Toy Drive
Alexandria Firefighters Local 2141 Children’s Holiday Toy Drive continued our season of giving as we presented new baby blankets and coffee mixes for the nursing staff as well as a staff BBQ meal for our community partners at Alexandria Hospital NICU who care for our youngest patients on a 24 hour basis. We appreciate all that our nurses do each and every day. Merry Christmas from Alexandria Firefighters Local 2141.

2024 Thanksgiving Turkey Drive
Alexandria Firefighters Local 2141 Children’s Holiday Toy Drive completed our Thanksgiving Food Drive by donating complete turkey dinners to 20 families at the Alexandria Domestic Violence Shelter. A big thank you to our community partners at Giant Food store 2742 on East Glebe Road, General Manager Don Le and his staff donated 20 turkeys for our food drive. We thank Giant, the Domestic Violence Shelter staff and Station 209-A for assisting in our food drive!

2023 Children’s Holiday Toy Drive
Alexandria Firefighters Local 2141 Children’s Holiday Toy Drive continued our partnership with Alexandria Hospital by presenting the staff at the NICU with a catered holiday meal of BBQ and sides and new baby blankets for our youngest hospital patients. We would also like to thank our community partners at Mission BBQ-Kingstowne for supplying the meal and for their continued support to Local 2141. We also want to thank our community partners at Willow Spring Towing and Recovery for their generous donation to Local 2141’s Children’s Holiday Toy Drive.

2023 Thanksgiving Turkey Drive
Alexandria Firefighters Local 2141 participated in our annual Thanksgiving turkey drive this morning. Local 2141 donated 10 Thanksgiving dinners to families at the Alexandria women’s shelter. Local 2141 also accepted a donation of Thanksgiving turkeys from our community partners at Giant store 2742 on East Glebe Road. The turkeys were used to feed 10 families at the Alexandria women’s shelter. We thank Giant food for helping us give back to the community. We also supplied a full Thanksgiving dinner to the Ramirez family of Alexandria whose apartment was destroyed by fire recently.

Mission BBQ 9-11 Fundraiser
Our community partners at Mission BBQ-Kingstowne have once again so very generously supported Alexandria Firefighters Helping Hands Foundation with a donation from the sale of 9-11 cups. GM Chrissy Monk and Community ambassador Jayce Eggleston presented HHF board members Chad Lallier and Mike Chandler with a check for the foundation which allows us to continue our mission of assisting our members in times of need. We thank Mission BBQ-Kingstowne once again for their generosity and continued support of Alexandria Firefighters Helping Hands!
